Hi everyone, I’m Elizabeth! I’ve been a proud New Yorker my entire life, but I hope to someday travel the world in search of great adventures (and food). My passions tend to be ever-evolving, but some permanent residents include people, books, and using science to solve problems. In my free time, you’ll find me cuddling up either with a book or with my dog.

my story

Someone once told me that life is a balance of consuming and creating content. I consume content every day of my life, in the form of books, TV, movies, music, and more. As for creating content, this website is my platform to do just that. Established in 2016 and over five years in the making, my little corner of the internet is the product of culture, high school life, and personal growth.

My blog started off with just a few writing pieces that I’d been working on during my free time. I loved reading, so it was mostly book reviews. Since then, some things have stayed the same — I still love to read and write — but over the years, I’ve tried to get more creative with my posts. In addition to book reviews, my blog is now also home to TV/movie/music reviews, opinion articles, journalism pieces, and more. I relish opportunities to push myself, and thinking of new content to create is nothing if not a good challenge!

Aside from elizabethchun.com, my work is also published in my school newspaper, TeenInk Magazine, and StoryStar.​
